We offer two types of courses. ORCA-CF covers the full scope of ORCA Facilitation™ including all 6 modules.
Each ORCA-CL course covers 2 out of 6 modules and every higher level requires passing the previous ones.
Certified Full Course
ORCA Facilitation
Certified course for Managers, as well as Change Agent and Facilitator roles (Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Business Coach)
  • Identify the hidden organizational causes of problematic business outcomes, outputs, and culture.
  • Model the possible consequences of the considered organizational changes revealing unobvious side-effects for business outcomes, outputs, and culture.
  • Get equipped with the approach to create stronger reasoning for your org. change ideas and effectively address multiple disagreements.

ORCA Certified Level 1

MODULE 1. Systems Thinking Basics

  • Understand Systems Thinking with its main Rules and Principles.
  • Be able to use system diagraming, including CLD effectively in individual and group work.

MODULE 2. Organizational Design

  • Understand the elements of organizational design based on the Goal-Centric Model, their relationships, and an approach to designing them.
  • Be able to evaluate the consistency among the elements of organizational design.

ORCA Certified Level 2

MODULE 3. Systems Thinking Advanced

  • Understand the most common archetypes of systems thinking.
  • Be able to spot them in your own systems and come up with respective strategies of dealing with them.

MODULE 4. Organizational Systems Thinking

  • Understand and be able to differentiate between different kinds of systems.
  • Understand human systems based on the Iceberg Model.
  • Understand organizational systems based on the Submarine Model.
  • Be able to guide root-cause analysis for systemic problems in the organizational systems.

ORCA Certified Level 3

MODULE 5. ORCA Canvases Basics

  • Understand the structure and logic behind the ORCA Canvas.
  • Be able to use the ORCA Canvas to pinpoint what within the organization is causing issues observed in business outcomes, outputs, and culture.
  • Be able to apply different techniques of working with the ORCA Canvas to facilitate individual and group work.
  • Be able to build strong reasoning for the proposed org. changes.
  • Be able to effectively address disagreements.

MODULE 6. ORCA Canvases Advanced

  • Understand the structure and logic behind the ORCA XL Canvas.
  • Be able to use the ORCA Canvas and ORCA XL Canvas to anticipate the outcomes of considered changes within the organization.

we made it possible for you to complete it within a shorter time
and achieve the synergy of learning from two courses combined in one!

Designing Agile Organizations PLUS

Certified course for Senior Management and Change Agent roles (Agile Coach, Scrum Master)

DAO (Main Course) fully covers ORCA-CL1. It remains only to cover Levels 2 and 3 to complete the ORCA-CF course.
